Join us at The Canny Chocolate Company for an exclusive Adult Easter Egg Workshop, where you’ll create your own elegant, hand-painted Easter egg using professional techniques. In this immersive 3-hour experience, you’ll be guided through the art of painting with cocoa butter to decorate a signature Easter egg, as well as crafting luxurious chocolate mendiants adorned with a selection of gourmet inclusions.
During the class, you’ll learn the techniques behind hand-painting chocolate moulds with vibrant cocoa butter, allowing your Easter egg to shine with a unique, personalised design. You’ll also make a selection of chocolate mendiants—delicate chocolate discs topped with premium ingredients such as nuts, dried fruit, and edible flowers—perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to your chocolate creations. Finally, we’ll package your beautiful Easter egg and mendiants for you to take home or share with others.
This workshop is designed for adults looking to experience the artistry of chocolate making in a relaxed, creative setting. Ideal for beginners and enthusiasts alike, this masterclass offers a unique way to celebrate the Easter season with chocolate.
This is a very practical hands-on workshop. You will work individually to create your chocolates under our teaching, supervision, and guidance. Our workshops are held in a shared group setting with no more than 6 other participants.
If any participant has any allergies or dietary requirements, you MUST advise us in advance of making a booking. We operate an open working kitchen where we handle many allergens. If in doubt, please check with us in advance.
Participants must be 14 years of age or older. If a participant is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult in the workshop. Unfortunately, we do not have space for spectators. We also don’t allow babies, toddlers, or pushchairs in the kitchen.
Personal belongings should be kept to a minimum. A hot chocolate on arrival and water are included, but you may wish to bring a drink in a bottle with a lid as chocolate making can be thirsty work!
As we open up our production space for shared workshops, we maintain an extremely high standard of hygiene, health, and safety at The Canny Chocolate Company. Every workshop participant must wear an apron and hairnet (these are provided).
You will need to stand for up to three hours. However, if you require seating, a limited number of stools are available. If you require disabled access, you must contact us in advance to discuss your requirements so we can ensure we can accommodate, given the space restrictions in our kitchen.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of the workshop and allow up to 3 hours for your chocolate experience.
Participants must adhere to all instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
If you want to gift a chocolate experience but are unsure of the date, why not buy one of our gift vouchers, which can be redeemed at a later date?
Once you have booked your workshop, it is not possible to reschedule or cancel it. Please consider this when booking. Especially during busy times of year, we may struggle to re-schedule your chocolate making. We can't make refunds once your class is booked. Shared workshops require a minimum number of chocolate makers, and in the unlikely event that this is not met, we will contact you to re-arrange and will always find an alternative.
