At The Canny Chocolate Company, we take great pride in crafting handmade, high-quality chocolates. Because our products are perishable and made to order, we do not accept returns, offer exchanges, or issue refunds once an order has been placed.

Please read the information below carefully before placing your order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at cannychocolates@outlook.com. Include your order number and clear photographs of the issue. We will assess the situation and, where appropriate, may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion. This applies only to damage that occurs during transit or genuine order errors on our part.

Non-Returnable Items
In line with UK consumer regulations, perishable food products such as our handmade chocolates are exempt from the standard 14-day return policy. We cannot accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances unless a product is faulty or incorrect.

Order Cancellations & Changes
As our chocolates are freshly handmade to order, we do not cancel, refund, or modify orders once they have been placed. Please ensure all details are correct at checkout before confirming your purchase.

Heat Damage & Delivery Responsibility
We may delay dispatch during warm weather to help protect your chocolate. However, once your order has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for melting, damage in transit, or missed deliveries caused by incorrect address details. Please double-check all delivery information before completing your order.

Refunds
Refunds are only issued in exceptional cases where damage or error has occurred and been reported within the time frame outlined above. If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take longer for your bank or card provider to process the transaction.
