During the workshop, you’ll be guided through each stage of the chocolate-making process, from moulding your eggs to decorating with a variety of fun toppings, colours, and patterns. You’ll also get hands-on creating additional chocolate gifts perfect for Easter. To finish, we’ll carefully package your creations, making them ideal for gifting or enjoying together.

These classes are the perfect introduction to the world of chocolate making for families of all ages and experience levels, offering a memorable way to enjoy time together over the Easter season. The workshop lasts around 1 hr 30 mins, with all materials provided to make your chocolate creations truly special.

Important Information - Please Ensure You Read This Prior to Booking

As these are family workshops, we do not allow children to attend on their own. Each booking must include a paying grown-up (adult ticket) over 18 years of age who is actively participating in the workshop with the child/children. Adults attending without a child will not be admitted and should book onto one of our other workshops exclusively for adults.

Our family workshops don’t have any minimum age. However, as these workshops are held in our working chocolate kitchen, younger children MUST be tall enough to work comfortably at a standard kitchen workbench height. Unfortunately, we don’t allow stools or steps. If in doubt, please contact us before making a booking.

Unfortunately, we do not have space for spectators. We don’t allow babies, toddlers, or pushchairs in the kitchen.

If you require disabled access, please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements due to space restrictions in our kitchen.

Please keep personal belongings to a minimum. Water is included, but you may wish to bring a drink in a bottle with a lid as chocolate-making can be thirsty work!

If any participant has any allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us in advance. Our kitchen operates as an open working space where many allergens are handled. For any concerns, contact us before booking.

If any participant has SEN/SEND requirements, please let us know before booking. We are experienced in delivering inclusive workshops and aim to ensure that everyone has an incredible time. You are welcome to arrange a pre-visit to help familiarise participants with what will happen on the day.

This is a practical, hands-on workshop in a shared group setting with no more than 8 other participants. Each participant will work individually to create chocolates with our teaching, supervision, and guidance.

As we open up our production space for shared workshops, we maintain an extremely high standard of hygiene, health, and safety at The Canny Chocolate Company. All participants must wear an apron and hairnet (provided).

Participants will need to stand for the duration of the workshop, up to 1 hr 30 mins.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start time, and allow up to 1 hr 30 mins for your chocolate experience.

Participants must follow all instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

If you wish to gift this chocolate experience, but are unsure of the date, our gift vouchers make an ideal choice, redeemable at a later date.

Once booked, workshops cannot be rescheduled or refunded, so please consider this before booking. Especially during busy times, it may be difficult to reschedule. Shared workshops require a minimum number of chocolate makers, and in the unlikely event this is not met, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date.
