Join us at our Chocolate Factory in South Shields for a truly immersive and indulgent experience where we will take you behind the scenes into the art of chocolate making. This is a magical and decadent experience lasting around 2 hours. With access to some of the finest ingredients, along with our expert guidance, this is a truly memorable workshop.
Your experience begins with one of our delicious hot chocolates on arrival, made using a traditional Belgian recipe from Bruges. After this, we’ll get hands-on with chocolate making. During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the various stages of creating your own decadent chocolate truffles, a chocolate bar, and delicious French-style chocolate mendiants. Everything is made from scratch using the finest ingredients. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of inclusions and flavours to enhance your chocolates too.
Once your creations are made, we’ll take the time to beautifully package and ribbon them, ready for you to take home and share with friends and family.
These workshops are open to all levels of experience and are the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of chocolate. You’ll also learn how to taste chocolate like a professional, understand the tempering process, and take home the recipes and workshop notes from the day. A welcome drink is included on arrival.
Here’s what makes this experience truly special:
Individual chocolate-making experience – unlike many other workshops, you’ll work solo on your own creations, not in pairs or groups.
Made entirely from scratch – using high-quality ingredients from start to finish.
Immersive and behind-the-scenes – explore the real art of chocolate making in a working chocolate studio.
Luxurious hot chocolate on arrival – made with an authentic Belgian recipe from Bruges.
